FV-PU-PUR-001 – Sarracenia purpurea ssp. purpurea ‘Woodfield Bog, Ireland’

These plants have been in our collection since 1990, coming from Woodfield Bog, Ireland where they were introduced around 1920 and naturalized. The plants originally come from Canada; it is a very hardy form of S. purpurea, beautifully colored and hard pitchers, very scarcely offered in the hobby. The plants we offer are cuttings propagated from the original plants!
